Unforseable circumstances have left me little choice but to end my Day 16 travels here for the night. Where is "here" you may be wondering!? Tonight I'm sleeping on a bench at a rest room next to train tracks in a little, dumpy, delapidated town called Kanayama. At about 10 to 4pm I found that I was riding through torrential rain getting drenched, with no hope of reaching a campground before dark. Spotting this rest room may just have well been finding the motherload or striking Texas gold! It was a welcoming sight and after several minutes of fussing with the thought of carrying on until I reached something a bit more suitable, I opted to roost by the toilets for the night.
