This was camp 2 nights ago. It's another free campground, one of the many in Hokkaido, located in the small village of Tsutsuji ("AZALEA") in Kitami Town. When I arrived here there was just one 30 something year old man huddled in his camoflauge covered tent. His name was Yoshiyuki and he's on a motorcycle trip.

Within about an our or so, several campers appeared as if from nowhere!
It was no longer a desolate riverside camp behind a golf course.
