First time to use our fireplace!
For Bill, it's really special
because he DIY-ed almost all as you witnessed here.
And for me, it's really special
because this is my very first fireplace to own.
煙突のふたを開けて、煙の逃げ道を作ります
火の粉が上がらなくなり、薪が真っ赤になったら煙突のふたを半分に閉めます
ふたの開け閉めは暖炉の中にある部品で
おーー、ちゃんと正座してる！
日本に来るまではできなかったのにね
この日から、帰宅して毎晩数時間は薪を焼べています
これで光熱費削減に期待！！

The fireplace/living room is turning out even more awesome than how I imagined it! It's so unique yet very "homey"... what a great place to relax after finishing your taxes, too!
