The earthquake with magnitude 9.0 occurred in Japan on Friday, March 11 - the 4th biggest in history.
Tsunami washed away people, building, cars, everything with a jet speed.
Coincidentally I was talking with my friend in Japan over Skype that moment.
She lives 350km (220 miles) away from the center of the earthquake, but I could tell the shock was significant from the tone of her voice. And then the line was cut off. I googled and found out about the scale.
Over 180 quakes with M5.0 so far.
A few power plants have destroyed, which lead the tremendous power shortage around the northeast area. So a whole country is trying not to use electricity as much so that people who need the most right now can use the power with the first priority.
My company formed a donation fund.
There are so many message boards (both online and recording) sharing missing people's info.
The estimated people's loss is over 10,000 as of today.
275,000 people have evacuated.
What a disaster.
It's very upsetting and heartbreaking.
Just sadness, fear, stress, and devastation people have.

こちらアメリカでも大きくニュースで取り上げられています。
たくさんの人から、暖かいメッセージを頂きました。
ビル母は、犠牲者・不明者とその家族がかわいそうだと泣いていました。
私の会社でも義援金を募る動きが出ています。

大きな地震、津波、原子炉の問題で、みんな脅え、悲しんでいます。
今は次々と場所を変えて襲ってくる地震に明日はわが身と思っています。
数時間前も静岡で震度６強の地震があったばかりです。
和歌山にも立派な紀伊水道があるので、つられて揺れだしはしないかと心配です。
これ以上被害が出ないように祈るばかりです。

コマーシャルなしで惨劇ばかりをニュースで見たら、脅えるよね。こちらは、毎朝のニュースで速報をやってます。
しかし、福島の原発は、都心の電気供給用で、福島県民はこの発電所からの電気は使ってなかったってね。それで、こんな危機にさらされてて・・・
いろんな人に心配されていて、人のありがたみを感じました。「出来る事あったら言ってね」って言ってくれるので、募金を勧めてます。
