I've almost gone full circle around the island of Yakushima. Just a few more miles to go! The island's coastal (main artery) is only about 30 miles (48 kilometers) in circumference, but is a major challenge for the fully loaded cycle tourer. There is a constant up/down topography which the road follows. It's views are spectacular and I am so greatful for having had the opportunity to enjoy all of them on Yakushima.
